We’re Han & Stu, a married couple, live music duo and full wedding band based in Wrexham, performing at weddings across North Wales, Cheshire, Liverpool, Shropshire and beyond.
From the song you walk down the aisle to, to the one that gets everyone onto the dance floor later that night, we can bring live music to as much, or as little, of your wedding day as you like.

We’ll happily start things beautifully stripped-back for your wedding ceremony, add some laid-back feel-good music to the drinks reception, then change gear completely when the evening arrives.
That might mean Han & Stu as a high-energy party duo, filling the dance floor with songs everyone knows.
Or it might mean adding bass, drums and brass and turning things into the full H&S Band.

Two singers. Guitar. Harmonies. Husband and wife. That’s the simple version.
We’ve spent years playing weddings together and putting our own spin on the songs people actually want to hear — from soul, Motown and acoustic favourites to indie, disco, pop, rock, funk and proper dance-floor classics.
Sometimes that means playing something beautifully stripped-back while everyone tries not to cry. Sometimes it means several hundred people shouting the chorus back at us. We like both.
Our sound is recognisably Han & Stu whatever part of the day we’re playing. We don’t try to recreate records note-for-note; we take great songs and make them work live, in the room, for the people standing in front of us.
And because we’re a married couple ourselves, we know weddings from both sides of the microphone.
We know when the music should sit beautifully in the background. And we definitely know when it’s time to turn things up and party!

There’s something completely different about hearing your song played live as you walk into your ceremony.
For ceremonies, we strip everything right back: two voices, harmonies and guitar, giving the music space to sit naturally around one of the biggest moments of the day.
Choose from our repertoire, ask us about a song that means something to you, or let us help you work out what fits.
It doesn’t need to be a traditional wedding song.
It just needs to be yours.
DRINKS RECEPTION MUSIC
You're married, the drinks are flowing, time to relax!
And suddenly the day feels very different. Drinks receptions are where we can loosen things up. Think soulful favourites, acoustic pop, indie, disco, rnb, nostalgic throwbacks and songs that start as background music before somebody inevitably begins singing along.
As wedding singers, we read the room rather than forcing the party too early.
Sometimes it stays beautifully chilled. Sometimes twenty people appear in front of us halfway through a chorus.
Both are good outcomes!
WHEN IT'S TIME TO PARTY
For the evening, you’ve got a choice.
Han & Stu Party Duo gives you the energy, interaction and spontaneity of a live band in a more compact set-up. Two voices, guitar, a bigger party sound and a set packed with songs designed to get people out of their seats.
It’s not the acoustic version of us, much more the Friday-night version, and it’s one of our most popular ways to book us.
Then there’s the full band! Take everything the party duo does and add bass, drums and live brass (yes, Stu plays trombone too!).
Bigger line-up. Bigger sound. Bigger moments. The trombone lifts things throughout the set with funky brass riffs and 90s dance hooks that'll keep your feet moving all night!
Expect dance, disco, indie, pop, rock, hip hop, dancehall, funk, big anthems and the sort of songs where suddenly nobody seems particularly interested in sitting down anymore. Pretty much all the hits from every genre you can think of!
So whether you want the intimacy and energy of the party duo or the full force of the live wedding band, the aim is exactly the same:
A brilliant room. A full dance floor.
And a party people actually remember.

We’ve got a huge repertoire, but we don’t think every wedding should have exactly the same soundtrack.
Tell us what you love and tell us what you absolutely don’t. Give us the songs that mean something to you, the music you grew up with, the guilty pleasures you’re definitely not guilty about and the one track that has to happen at some point.
We’ll build the music around the atmosphere you want rather than trying to fit your wedding into a standard setlist.
You don’t need to plan every song. That’s our job.

We started off with the singing outside for the reception and then we moved inside for the wedding breakfast and before we had even finished eating everybody was up dancing. We’ve played at brilliant venues including Tyn Dŵr Hall, Tower Hill Barns, Highfield Hall, Henblas Country Park, Blue Acre Weddings and plenty more across the region.
We regularly perform throughout Wrexham, Llangollen, Mold, Ruthin, Conwy, Llandudno and Anglesey, as well as Chester, Cheshire, Liverpool, Wirral and Shropshire.
And we travel throughout the UK too.
